10mm microbore pipe to 15mm / Pipe Heat Outputs -

Dec 20, 2010 · My query is I want to upgrade my central heating pipes from 10mm to 15mm, but I have four new radiators which are 12000 btus each (1600 x 700mm doubles from Wickes). Is it correct that the maximum output from 15mm pipe is 10000 btus? If so, would I have to run 22mm pipe direct to each 12000 btu radiator?
